Back in the Saddle

No, I am not riding horses or steering cattle but I am trying to get back into the habit of writing more regularly since my hiatus last week! Yesterday we witnessed pretty wicked weather here full of lightning and high winds and funnel clouds. Oh my! But I would like you to know that today is one of the most gorgeous days in Kentucky history with sunny blue skies and crisp autumn air that is still warm with sunshine. On days like today I am thankful to be living in this autumnal wonderland of trees with the smell of burning leaves on my clothes and in my hair.... Well, as long as I can wash it out at day's end. Today, I wish you blue skies and yummy apple pies! Hello Autumn, I love you!
