Spring is only a few weeks away and I can feel the urge emerging to shop, shop, shop! Nothing could be more dangerous in my life right now than indulging my need for speed in the boutiques and malls of America. I live only a few short hours away from my shopping mecca of Chicago, Illinois. The brilliant skyscrapers, the Mag Mile,
Giordano's pizza, Millennium Park, the museums, the
Cubbies - I hear them calling me to a vacation by the sea (or lake... whatever)! My favorite stores in Chicago are the two and three story versions of my good old standards - Forever 21 & Gap have clearance floors which I adore. While I have heard the American Girl Store is a wonderland of fun and beauty, I am ashamed to say that I have yet to visit it.
The point is, I feel the need to shirk off these sweaters and coats and adorn myself in comfy t-shirts, skirts, and flip flops. I have done a little searching and found some looks that I want to try for the spring. "Out with the old and in with the new," some would say, but the key to any great wardrobe makeover is either winning a $10, 000 shopping spree or finding fresh ideas to help you rework what you already have. I am right there with you! Spring Fever! Unfortunately in NC, the weather has not made up it's mind yet. We've had 70's a few days and then back to 50's a few days later with 20 degree nights :0(

I know what you mean! It isn't quite warm enough here in KY yet but I can tell spring is wanting to come and play! I am loving it!
