Yes. I survived the luau and had a blast - no heart attacks or embarrassing moments (yet). Now, onto the bigger and better, oh-so relevant things in life... Harry. Yes,
Harry Potter. He is back in town and Blake and I are preparing to see him. I know we'll enjoy our long awaited visit with our old friend Harry and his companions. Certainly this reunion will be a highlight of a 4 day period filled with GRE studies, testing, and wisdom teeth removal. That's right! All four of my wisdom teeth are being deported from their homeland.

I hope that all of you will give Harry Potter a chance. It's a great reminder of Christ's story in a culture that is increasingly groaning inwardly for a Savior. You will be surprised by the beauty and depth of this series. Check out what our favorite singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson shares of his Potter experience in his
wonderful blog here. Until next time friends, may you eat homemade ice cream and savor the last baseball games of summer! Go Cubbies!
'Ello, Cousin! I hope you're recovering well from your mouth remodel! :D Pick me up on your way to see HP tomorrow, k? lol.. Love and miss you guys! PS - How did the GRE go? We really should talk on the phone again soon. :)
